Sarah

Sarah is still working hardly at all part time as a special ed teacher at Esten School. She is teaching a new resource room program this year which she is enjoying. She has taken several technology classes and clearly didn't learn a thing is teaching through interactive technologies. She also still has her own tutoring business on the side which helps support her shopping problems.

Matt

Matt is still teaching 6th and 8th grade at St. Bridget School in Abington. This year in addition to teaching he is also the administrative intern. Basically what this means is that he does more work for the same pay. He started a masters program in education leadership with the goal of one day being a principal. Sarah thinks he is crazy for wanting to give up his summers take on so much responsibility. He also still works at Cardinal Cushing Centers three nights a week at least thats what he tells his wife.

Welcome To Our New Aged Christmas Card

Matt and I always try to send out unusual Christmas picture cards but this year I just wasn't feelin' it. Rather that spend a ton of time, aggravation and money on mailing a Christmas card I had an epiphany. We could donate the money we normally spend on printing and mailing to a good cause. Operation Christmas Child is program in our town that helps local families have gifts on Christmas. Often times the recipients are my own students. In addition to helping those in need, we are also being eco-friendly. So there you have it...no christmas card from us this year! We hope you enjoy our 2011 pictures and stories.
